De-sexing
Desexing is an effective strategy to prevent unwanted pregnancies. There is absolutely no benefit in letting females have one litter before they are desexed.

Costs
Dogs $200
Cats $150
The criteria is a Centrelink Blue Card or an income not exceeding $50,000 p.a. gross, and be a resident of the Tweed Shire. You can also order and pay for your desexing voucher online.

Microchipping
It is very important to ensure your pet cat or dog is microchipped because if your pet cat or dog becomes lost, you are far more likely to be reunited if they are microchipped.
